When Tanner Smith was seven years old he wrote his first song on a his little three-octave Yamaha Keyboard, and by the time he was nine he finally asked his father to teach him to play the guitar he bought him for his sixth birthday.

SInce that time Tanner has been writing and playing music inspired by Scripture, creation, pain and love. Over the years God has been teaching Tanner more than just how to write or play music, but how to pour himself out to his Creator through the vehicle that is music, and to let his songs be honest and real before a very real and living God.

Tanner now lives in Houston, Texas and has been leading worship at Calvary Chapel Houston for the last two years. He is so privileged to do what he loves; helping lead others to the throne of God.
