Prolong The Agony formed in 2010 with the goal of creating their own take on metalcore - a melodic, heavy and passionate experience .

Taking influence from acts such as Of Mice & Men, Fit For A King, We Came As Romans and Crown The Empire they are fast achieving their intention.

To date the band have shared stages with the cream of the UK underground scene including : Bury Tomorrow, Feed The Rhino, Glamour Of The Kill, Malefice, Heart In Hand, Shadows Chasing Ghosts ,Polar and The Dead Lay Waiting.

Recently they have also supported international acts including Crossfaith and Broadway.

In the Summer of 2012 they were invited to tour the USA on the legendary VANS Warped Tour- a rare feat for a currently unsigned UK band. This saw them spend 6 weeks touring the USA playing on different stages with bands such as We Are The Ocean, Tonight Alive and After The Burial amongst others.

Last Summer also saw the band self release the “Make Me Feel Alive EP” which is available from http://prolongtheagony.bigcartel.com/ and iTunes.

March 2013 has seen them release their debut video “Under My Skin” on BlankTV which can be viewed on Youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUGSG9iDcrM.
