The Maze Connection is a collaboration between legendary DJ's and producers Henk Vandepapeliere and CJ Bolland.

The project hit off with the realization of a 27 year old dream of Henk's. In the mid-1980's, Belgian song writer Luc Van Acker released his album The Ship, featuring the single Zanna, which became an instant pop cult classic. On the night of July 9th 1985, Henk was DJ-ing at a Belgian club in the company of some friends and his sister, Els. Zanna was the last record of his set. When he came home after work, the devastating news awaited him that Els had been killed in a car accident. Since then, Henk has wanted to commemorate her through the last song she ever danced to.
