F.O.A.D. [FUCK OFF AND DIE] is a Metal band from Lyon, France.Its Death Thrash Stoner Fuckin’ Hard Core Grind Metal.
The band was founded in January 2009 by three ex.DOGMAT’, Lionel (vox), Nicolas (bass) and Pierre (guitars). Julien on drums (CLEKTIC) joined forces soon after..F.O.A.D. worked on original materials and proposed a Metal with a mix of influences.
During 2009 the band played 11 times in and around Lyon, with such bands as OESTRE, STONEBURST, OIL CARTER, ACOD, BIBLE OF THE DEVIL (from USA) or BACKSTROKE (from Reunion Island).
The first demo FUCK OFF AND DIE was only available on myspace at the beginning of the year.
On july, Thierry (from BLUE TURN) took the second guitar.
At the end of the year, Pierre was out for musical divergences.
