详细介绍

Three-man rap group consisting of former Hilltop Hustlers Records associates Warren McGlone aka Steady B, Chris Roney aka Cool C, and DJ Ultimate Eaze. The three were signed to Ruffhouse Records to release their only album "Countin' Endless Bank" and yielded the singles "Get The Point" and "Goes Like This". However C.E.B. never really hit with the new hip hop crowd and the group was later dropped from the label after poor sales. Cool C and Steady B resurfaced in the news two years later after they attempted to rob a bank.
On January 22, 1996, Steady B & Cool C, and another local Philadelphia rapper, Mark Canty, attempted a bank robbery at a PNC bank branch in Philadelphia. During the botched heist, in which Steady B served as the getaway driver in a stolen minivan, Philadelphia Police Officer Lauretha Vaird, who responded to the bank's silent alarm, was shot and killed by Cool C.
Officer Vaird, an African American woman and the single mother of two children, was the first female Philadelphia Police officer slain in the line of duty.
To avoid a possible death sentence, Steady B confessed to the robbery and was sentenced to life without possibility of parole. Cool C, the triggerman during the robbery, is on death row.
