Ranging from nine to 12 years of age, the Canberra-based DKC Crew will travel to San Diego in August to compete against the top 100 troupes from across the globe.
The kids from Dance Central are in the final stages of preparation for the tournament, training up to 10 hours a week to sharpen their moves.
The troupe is made up of five girls and one boy, and will be among three Australian teams competing in the junior division of the Hip Hop International (HHI).
