Mad Zach has a new EP in the works, but instead of finishing it himself, he’s decided to join forces with New York-based music collaboration startup, Blend (http://blend.io) to offer up the concepts to the people. Blend users will be able pull the Ableton project files and make their own edits and suggestions. Projects for each song will be published one at a time, and Zach will be compiling edits and suggestions in final versions. Along the way he’ll be publishing videos documenting the process, and sharing different techniques he’s using to glue it all together. Once the EP is finalized, the contributors will be cited as co-producers on the released record.
