Bishat is an emerging Swedish artist delivering raw self-confessional pop that is in equal parts honest and vulnerable as it is bold. Unwilling to compromise she took her time to get her music sounding just the way she wanted.
In December 2015 Bishat released a first taste of her abilities with the vocal mashup ‘Some Things’ receiving widespread recognition for it and charting on Hype Machine for two weeks straight. Instead of performing a straight-up cover of a Daniel Johnston song, she decided to play around with ‘Some Things Last A Long Time’ and included two of her favorite songs into the composition, Lykke Li’s No Rest For The Wicked and The Weeknd’s Often.
