From their humble beginnings cramped in to a small practise room, the band have went on to play a string of successful live shows at established venues such as the o2 Academy Newcastle and playing at Newcastles Evolution Festival.

Combining a range of influences such as Twin Atlantic, Circa Survive, Thrice and Lower than Atlantis, Bright Lights recorded a well received demo in 2011, leading to airplay on BBC Radio Newcastle, with their first e.p to be released in the summer of 2012.
