Hi, I'm Ryan, I'm from West Michigan and I like metal and you. I had previously been programming and playing keys in a band called "We Call This Irony" before this. When that started to take it's final breaths in 2011, I decided i'd take the things I had learned to another endeavor. I had the idea of Northern, brought it up to a few friends, and I had a band. They had other plans later down the line however, and in the end, only one I remained. I didn't want to just quit writing music though, so I figured I'd just continue to write the music as a one man band. Everything you hear is 100% me. I'm responsible for all of the instrumentation, vocals, and production, so hopefully I can put together something you and I both can enjoy. Thank you for taking the time to listen.
