Causes is a Dutch-English indie-pop band from Utrecht, The Netherlands. The lead vocalist of the band is the English singer-songwriter Rubert Blackman who is best known for his debut album “The Lights Of Home”. Other members of Causes are Jan Schr?der (Guitar), Robert Pronk (Bass) and Simon Boeing-Messing (Drums). Their debut single “Teach Me How To Dance With You” became a moderate success in the Dutch Singles Chart as it peaked at number 21. Currently Causes is signed to Benelux division of the international record label [PIAS].
