Artificial Heart is a 5-piece metal/hardcore outfit from Tuusula, Finland which was originally formed in the late 2008 but been active with the current lineup since 2009 when vocalist Matias Jyl?skoski joined the band. Their music is aggressive and melancholic modern metal mixed up with some hardcore elements and catchy clean sung choruses.

Artificial Heart has released two promotional EP's, "Deliverance" in 7/2010 and the latest "Broken Bones & Buried Dreams" in 4/2011. Quickly after the release of "Deliverance" EP, they've started to gain some attention in- and outside the borders of Finland.

In winter 2010/2011 they were chosen out of 250 bands to the finals of the Suomi Metal Star 2011 contest, arranged by Century Media Records Ltd and in July 1st the band also warmed up August Burns Red in Nosturi, Helsinki.

In September 2011, Artificial Heart recorded 2 new songs, "My Confession" & "Our Conclusion" at Ansa Studio, which will give you a little bite of the sound, that can be heard on their debut full-length album which will be released in the late 2012 via Spinefarm Records.
