详细介绍
Formed three years ago by Steve Hill (guitar), Matt Gilmore (bass) and Ray 'X-Ray' Peverill (drums), Skam are a three piece, hard rock band based in Leicester. With over 300 gigs to their name and having played in every major city in the UK, the guys are a crack live unit with a stage show that is second to none. With a reputation for delivering no nonsense, gutsy, classic sounding British rock music, played with passion and conviction the band have steadily built a strong local following. One notable local review dubbed them "Leicester legends." Seasoned road dogs that they are, they have been asked to support several major rock acts including: The Wildhearts, Laika Dog, Blaze Bailey and Del Bonham's Stray. Other memorable gigs, have included a sold out Saturday night at the 350 capacity Cavern Club in Liverpool and playing to over 7000 festival goers at Glastonbudget 2010. With two self-produced EP's already under their belts (both of which were supported by UK club tours), Skam have just finished recording their debut album, produced and recorded by renowned hard rock producer Matt Elliss (Terrorvision, Black Spiders, Laika Dog, Groop Dogdrill) at Axis Productions in Doncaster. The self-funded, ten song album is a considerable step forward both sonically and in terms of songwriting for the group. The Album has been well recieved across the country.
