Miranda Kerr is about to add yet another accolade to her already brimming career hat, with news breaking this morning that the supermodel is set to release her first single.

The 31-year old has reportedly recorded a duet with Australian-based Irish singer Bobby Fox, with the two collaborating on a version of Elvis Presley’s You’re the Boss, which featured in the 1964 film, Viva Las Vegas.

However, Kerr is adamant that this is not the beginning of a budding singing career.

"I usually just sing in the shower but @thedancingfox convinced me to record a duet with him," tweeted the model. "Not a career change, just a bit of fun."

A spokesperson for Bobby Fox said Kerr didn’t take herself too seriously during the recording.

“She just got into character and had a ball recording it,” reported the spokesperson, while a source close to Miranda added that she had “no plans” to embark on a singing career.

“She loves music and just thought this would be fun,” said the source.
