Memory of a Melody is the creative collective of: Mario Galdos, Wade Sigue, Roel Castillo, and Stephan. It is our role in the invisibly dominant force that is music. It is a reason to unite, and a means of positivity in a time where it is easy to be negative. The band formed in April of 2008, and as the winners of the 2009 KISS/Miller Light Battle of the Bands, has established themselves throughout the region as a high energy, crowd-pleasing act. They have been fortunate to share the stage with such artists as Chevelle, 10 years, Lit, Royal Bliss, Framing Hanley, Adelitas Way, and others. In an era where artists are too often pigeon-holed into categories. Memory of a Melody strives to transcend categorization. We are all part of one force, and that is music. The music is a product of its creators and their vast tastes. It is heavy but soft. Melodic but Thrashy. Progressive but simple. A homage to the earlier days of music, and an attempt to reintroduce people to musical society. A message of unity, and a reason to get off your ass and rock.
