Design was one of the earliest artists signed to Stones Throw Records. He was also the first designer for Stones Throw, hence the name, DJ Design. He designed the Quasimoto logo and character, PB Wolf’s logo and album cover and produced the LP Gather Round. He’s worked with Madlib (produced Sparkdala), Rasco (What It’s All About), AG, Guilty Simpson, J Dilla, Foreign Legion, Oh No, Party Arty (RIP), Grip Grand, Phat Kat, Veba and Mark Rae, and a slew of others. Public Enemy is his biggest influence in music.
