Around here, not many people have heard of the dj and producer-team ?KH33N“, consisting of Najib Hachim (El Najib) and Stefan Reimer (Khetama). That’ll change soon, as the two of them will give us the ultimate club-hit 2012!

Although not very well known in Germany as Kh33n, they have long since become household names in other countries.


At the age of 21, Najib was already very successful as an artist and songwriter, performing live with stars like Kylie Minogue, working with first-class producers like Bermann Brothers (Coldplay, Jan Delay) or Peter Columbus alias Bernd G?cke (b.v.s.m.p.) and conquering the charts in Denmark, Norway and England. His releases in the vocal-house scene were impressive and he has even received various prizes for his innovative excursions into commercial music (bronze at the ADC 2009 = the most important German creative award) in recognition of his musical work.


His colleague Stefan Reimer started his career at the end of the eighties, early nineties. Influenced by the early hip house and acid tunes, Khetama quickly established himself in the upgrowing club-scene in Germany. His latest releases "Whizzkids feat Inusa Dawuda - Rumours (Digi Digi) / Tiger Records - Kontor" and "Lissat & Khetama - Imagination / Blanco Y Negro", reached top positions in official charts world wide (Russia 1, Turkey 1, Ukraine 1, Argentina 5, Spain 9, Serbia 3, Albania 1...)


Through the years Khetama got to play different countries like UK, Spain, France, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Croatia, ..., played residencies at famous clubs like tribehouse, dockland, tresor, warehouse and was playing on big events like loveparade, nature one, nottinghill carnival or ruhr in love...


El Najib’s songwriting skills, David Edward’s great rap-voice and Khetama’s dj talent are a perfect match, and so the three of them created a song that stirs a craving for summer, sun, beach and more…


“It was one of those relaxed nights when things just run smoothly, an idea sticks to your mind and the melody escapes your lips easily and ever so naturally. The respective lyrics were quickly found together with David, which supporting the composition with their flow.” That’s how Najib describes the circumstances under which “watching you” was born.

Hip dance beats, seasoned with great sounds, and then, like a cherry on the cake, the super cool and distinctive voice of David Edward and El Najib, hey, that certains also DJ Phil Fuldner to do a great rmx !
