Colony Houseis is a three piece indie rock band from Franklin, Tennessee.

They may be related to the man who holds the record for the most Dove Awards, but Caleb and Will Franklin Chapman are charting some new territory all their own, and their dad is their biggest fan. The young boys first got their start performing with Chapman as Two Car Garage when Will was barely old enough to reach the drum kit. Then, they got older and more serious about music. They backed Chapman for multiple tours–Caleb on guitar, Will on drums–and then set out to follow their own musical pursuits. Along with longtime friend Scott Mills, they formed Caleb, opened for Andrew Peterson and released a few songs that created some early buzz. The threesome recently changed their name to Colony House and released a 3-song EP that you can download on NoiseTrade for free. While they inevitably have their dad’s penchant for crafting relatable, heart-tugging lyrics, don’t expect their music to mimic their father’s. While their songs have a pop sensibility to them, they lean more toward atmospheric rock. Fans of Keane and Athlete will fall in love with Colony House. The band is currently working on their first full-length, slated to release later this year.
