At an early age Gonzalo Soto was introduced to DJing at his cousins birthday party. He was immediately captivated by the energy the DJ created within his audience through the music he was playing. Gonzalo was attentive to the love the DJ was getting from everyone, including all the girls around him. Most importantly the DJ enjoyed doing what he loved to do. It was then, when saw Gonzalo received his calling, “It was like my first ray of light… A light that I’ve been following every since, I knew what I wanted to do, and what i had to do.”

Gonzalo spent an entire summer of working various jobs including, mowing lawns, cleaning houses and construction work. In efforts to save enough money to purchase his first pair of turntables and begin his pursuit of becoming a DJ. He was determined to be amongst the top tier DJs.

Day after day he practiced and cultivated his skills in his room, learning the basics and collecting various genres of great music. “Every day I had the image of a rocking crowd in my mind and the energy that was being pulsated through my music and speakers into the people.” Soon after, Gonzalo began to DJ house parties for fun, gaining more knowledge and experience as a DJ.

His fan base was growing rapidly, so much he began to DJ during lunch break in high school, surrounded by his friends and other students playing all of their favorite music. Immediately opportunities began developing. He was asked to do high school dances and proms. It was then he began to witness the manifestation of his calling. He gained recognition as a DJ and his services were now being requested.

He observed his transition from DJ to businessman through his interactions with the club scene. Gonzalo began working with a local group called NoizeMakerz Ent. Through his experience with this company he developed a greater awareness of organizing extravagant parties, concerts, and club events. Soon after he decided to gather his resources and create his own group. His name gained popularity in his area & he was soon respected by other venue owners. “I started doing all ages events which produced more opportunities, but I had a much larger & more massive vision of what I wanted to create & contribute to.”

Since that early age that “light” Gonzalo initially saw became more than just a light… “Thinking back, it was the energy that attracted me through the DJ’s abilities at my cousin’s birthday party. It was the energy that kept the people moving and enjoying themselves. I don’t know how else to describe it besides being the energy of love and excitement. When I contribute and create the anticipation in the audience as the song changes the bass drops and everyone gets extra hyped, it’s so energetic, positive and so addicting. I love it.”
