London based Sam Sure must have something special under his sleeve if his debut single ‘Hunger’ is anything to go by. Signed to independent label, Black Butter Records, the Kent native is making some serious waves with his latest track. ‘Hunger’ opens with stuttering beats that indulge a sense of musical expansion. The track however, is relatively subdued, possessing a quiet power. Tinged with R&B and electronic elements, Sam’s first solo offering combines simple but well executed production and vocals. Definitely radio ready, ‘Hunger’ has already received attention from the likes of BBC Radio 1 and other trend-spotters. No word yet on a full length album, but fans can purchase ‘Hunger’ and several remixes on October 20th of this year.
