From the U.K to the U.S, Manchester raised rapper Lyrican is crossing borders in every sense of the term. He began rapping at the age of 16 and quickly found his way into the music scene, a couple of years later he became the first Mancunian rap artist to tour the U.K., opening to sold out arenas for legends like Jay-Z, Wu Tang & 50 cent.

A string of mixtape's soon followed: “The Mancunian Candidates”, “100% Lyricaine” and then “Inception”. He has since become the 1st U.K. artist to be taken on by US mixtape heavyweight DJ Drama who hosted his 2011 release “The Luigi Mixtape.

His next mixtape release proved to be even greater as bbc radio one's Charlie Sloth and Dj Drama joint hosted it making the project the first of its kind as an across the atlantic collaboration between two of the most influential dj's in music today, the project later resulted in Lyrican being nominated for best male and best hip hop mixtape by the official mixtape awards.

In only a few years Lyrican has made the history books many times over and his hunger for recognition is now greater than ever before. Keep an eye out because major ground is about to be broken.
