The first ‘demo’ he showed people quickly raced to be the number one most-played track on triple j Unearthed and pricked the interest of music industry types both locally and internationally. Since then the Melbourne-via-Adelaide songwriter has been busy writing more material and playing gigs including a residency at iconic The Espy, New Years On The Hill and The Hills Are Alive festivals, and supporting international artists such as Jay Brannan (USA) and playing sold out shows nationally with Lewis Watson (UK).

‘Gambling Man’ is Mike’s debut single. It was produced by John Castle (Vance Joy, Megan Washington) and it explores taking chances and diving head-first to things even when the odds are stacked against you.
