Jonny Gray was born in the desert town of El Paso Texas. At 18 Jonny joined the US Air Force doing a 4 year stint relocating him to San Antonio Texas. It was his time in the Military that this Self Taught Musician Honed his musical skills. After completing his tour of duty Jonny played the San Antonio Music Circuit even winning "Best Acoustic Artist" at the San Antonio Music Awards. In 2010 Jonny Gray moved to the "Live Music Capital" Austin Texas and continued to tour regionally. In 2011 Jonny Gray released his first EP "Sail It Away". Recently, he was invited to the city council to receive a proclamation from Mayor Lee Leffingwell. January 26th 2012 was declared Jonny Gray Day in Austin Texas. A Full Band is currently being formed and a new full length album is in the works.
