Electronic music producer and DJ Alluxe is bringing the heat with her EP, Nomad, out on August 27. Having been commissioned this year by M83, Polica and Mr. Hudson for remixes, this EP will be the debut of her signature sound—hip hop meets bass music—banging, futuristc, growling electronic beats. The dramatic builds and gritty razor sharp percussion give the EP a dense big-room cinematic feel, a nod to her classical training. Speaking of which, her violin playing can be heard on Watch the Throne, on Hit-Boy's mixtape, on Dancing With the Stars—the list goes on.
