Born in 1987 in Brooklyn, New York, Malinchak started playing piano just three years later. From that moment on, music accompanied his every thought and action. He would routinely wake up in the middle of the night to practice and devour whatever piece of new music he was studying or creating. By middle school, Malinchak was playing the local NY club scene with assorted bands and by high school was writing and producing under a handful of monikers.
