Hammitt released the album Every Falling Tear in 2011, which was his first solo album apart from Sanctus Real, but he is still a part of that band.Hammitt's son's condition spurred him onto publish his debut solo album apart from his band Sanctus Real.[2] The album's release date was not timed to coincide with Bowen's first surgery; it was just a mere happenstance.
