Carlo "Illangelo" Montagnese (born July 29, 1987), is a Canadian producer, songwriter, musician and mixing engineer from Toronto, Ontario, who came to fame as long-time collaborator of The Weeknd. His work includes executive production of The Weeknd's 2011 mixtapes, the 2012 compilation album from The Weeknd titled Trilogy along with singles from Wiz Khalifa ft. The Weeknd – Remember You, Drake ft. The Weeknd – Crew Love and remixes such as Lady Gaga – Marry The Night (The Weeknd & Illangelo Remix) and Florence and the Machine - Shake It Out (The Weeknd Remix). He will release his debut album titled : The History of Man on August 20th, 2013.
