详细介绍

Denise Pearson is a Brit award winner, Grammy nominee and former lead singer with iconic pop group, FIVE STAR.

While in the group, Denise had an unprecedented chart run of over 20 top thirty UK singles including ‘System Addict’, ‘The Slightest Touch’ and the anthem ‘Rain Or Shine’. FIVE STAR were also the youngest British group to have a number 1 album and the first group to achieve 7 consecutive hit singles from one album in the UK.

Away from working with her family, Denise also writes her own material as well as for others and enjoyed a successful writing partnership with Ryan Tedder (of One Republic), most notably penning the hit single Strike for teen star Nikki Flores.

After taking a career break to raise her two children, Denise joined the musical Michael Jackson celebration ‘Thriller Live’ in 2009 as part of it's original West End cast garnering great reviews for her outstanding performance.

In September 2011, Denise starred in another West End musical, ‘Respect La Diva’ where she wowed audiences with her sensational cover of Beyonce’s ‘Listen’ and a medley of Whitney Houston hits.

In 2012 she reunited with her brothers and sisters (Lorraine, Doris, Stedman and Delroy) as FIVE STAR to perform at the ‘Rewind Festival’ and on Channel 5’s ‘Celebrity Big Brother’. On the 22nd September they all performed together at G-A-Y in London. It would be the last time that Buster Pearson, their father and manager who formed the group in 1983, would see his children on stage as a few weeks later he sadly passed away.

In 2013 Denise signed a new management deal and got a dream gig – supporting The Jacksons on tour. Denise joined the UK leg of The Jacksons worldwide Unity Tour performing to packed arenas in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bournemouth and Glasgow to great acclaim.

In September 2013 Denise released a song she penned called 'Rafiki Yangu' (Swahili for 'My Friend'), as a celebration to Nelson Mandela and Africa's fight for peace and posterity, with all profits from sales being donated to the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund (UK).

Denise's debut solo album, 'Imprint' is set for release on the 8th June, along with the single 'Free Fall'.
