Evan Erielle Roman was born on November 7, 1983. The upper middle child, Evan grew up mostly in St. Louis and Maui. In her teen years, she moved to Santa Fe, Seattle, and finally Boulder to attend Naropa University and found herself, five funny years later, with a diploma in her hands and a thorn in her heart. She is a self-taught singer and composes much of her music in the bathtub. Evan proudly joined Jeff Mackey and Sean How in 2009 to create the hauntingly melodic Plum. They released their first self-titled e.p. in November of 2010 and plan to release their second EP Lullaby summer 2012. Evan has a big heart, is sassy and sultry, prefers piece and quiet to chatter and passion to passivity. Her name means rock in Hebrew.
