Music has been a fascination of Callie McKinney’s as far back as she can remember. So much so, that she began to seriously pursue it at the age of 9 and in 2008 graduated with a degree in Commercial Music from Belmont University. Though having knowledge in music, Callie was desperate for direction after graduation. She knew that she wanted to use music as a tool to touch people’s hearts, but didn’t quite know her niche or understand how to do that. Things started to come together after attending TheCall DC (an event focused on fasting and prayer for America) where she met a group of people from The Foundry in Nashville, Tennessee, home to a three month creative arts and ministry program called Thunder School. After saying ‘yes’ to Thunder School in 2008, Callie discovered her spiritual gifts, received inner healing and realized the depth of the Father’s love for her. Ever since, she’s been giving of herself to the ministry of Provision International whose mission is to serve those in need in the inner city of Nashville and beyond.

Her passion is to see people everywhere have “tangible encounters with the Father’s heart” whether they are inside the church or struggling through life. Her mission in life and music is “to proclaim good news to the poor, bind up the brokenhearted, proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,” just as Isaiah 61 says.
