Yasuhiro Morinaga (森永 泰弘 Morinaga Yasuhiro?, born August 1, 1980 in Tokyo) is a Japanese sound designer, music director, sound archivist, and the composer of Musique concrète. He is known as a sound designer for Asian Independent Cinema. Morinaga is also a field recording artist specialized in outland ethnic music, oral communication, wildlife and bioacoustics,
Morinaga studied at the Victorian College of Arts (University of Melbourne) where he studied Sound Design, specialized in sound and music for contemporary dance and film. After graduating, Morinaga entered the Graduate School of Film and New Media at Tokyo University of the Arts. He was engaged in practicing audiovisual relationship as his research.
