Chris Lorenzo is the Don Corleone of jackin’ house. The Birmingham native had a big part to play in its emergence in the Midlands in early 2011, releasing a ground-shaking remix of Switch’s ‘I Still Love You’ alongside Hannah Wants, and through working with numerous producers in the studio and hitting the decks on the regs has kept the genre alive and kicking, carving himself his own unique niche in the process.

And it would seem that there is just no stopping him. Today, he can often be found teaming up with Kane, with whom he works under the name Cause & Affect, and the Birmingham duo are undoubtedly one of the most exciting and forward-thinking acts out there; that’s why Rinse FM handed them a weekly show (every Wednesday, like clockwork), which has become a platform for the freshest sounds in jackin’ house and bass.
