Steven Brian Riley was born December 14, 1986 to Steven Brian Riley Sr. father and Wanneta Thompson, mother. Steven was born at Memorial hospital in the city of Long Beach, California. Then from there he went to lincon from 1 to 5 grade from there he started middle school at Jefferson in Long Beach and went on to graduate in 2005 from Milikan High School. He also attended Long Beach City College for a few semesters.
It was around that time that Steven Riley started rapping and became known as Yung Weev. He and a group of friends by the name off young pop psb and gypsy tray where they later formed a group named UN Company. Some time after releasing a mixtape called a day in the life vol 1 with UN Company the group would break up but Weev continued to develop his craft. A few years later he met Airplane James a promising artist from South Central Los Angeles. a relative, soon after he became a part of Street Native Music Group.
