Transcendent is a filipino metal band hailing from antipolo city, formed in 2006 by founding members Bryan Dy, Dono Mojica and Steven Taburnal.

Formerly known as Nagraya, The band originally consists of 6 - 8 members that started playing in mini gigs from antipolo covering songs from dying fetus, suffocation, decapitated. As time goes by, Several line-up changes were made due to the members' different commitments so they turn the band that consist of 5 members and decided to play from extreme/loud/brutal sound into a more complex and technical tune while maintaining the metal aura. Thus renaming the band from nagraya to transcendent. With influences from well known tech/metal bands and their likeness to jazz/fusion music, The band played on gigs from antipolo, setting their recognition thus being invited to play around metro manila by different productions for more people to see and hear the band play. Several line-up changes were again made having slight adjustments into the band's sound but despite of the sudden turn, the band went further, playing music and gaining more recognition into the philippine metal scene that started their way in building their own masterpiece.

With intuitive minds, active imaginations with passion and creativity, Transcendent is on the path, creating their artform and will continue to go further towards what is yet to be seen.
