Carl Axel von Kothen (August 15, 1871 Hamina - July 7, 1927 Oak Island) was a Finnish singer, voice teacher and composer. He studied abroad in European music centers. He served 1908-1924 Helsinki Music song as a teacher. He composed both single- and choral songs, piano and orchestral works, including symphonies, cantatas, as well as others. He gives concerts as a singer in Finland, St. Petersburg, Berlin and Paris. He was a founding member in 1905 publication Finsk Musikrevyn.
