Ion真名 (Giannis Papaioannou)出生在希腊，从1996年开始他就作为一个独立艺人在地下打拼。他是希腊第一位携带着便携式计算机出入在表演现场的艺人，他的作品风格几乎没有固定的模式，无论在音乐创作方面还是在现场演奏技巧或在录音室，他总是不断创新，05年第一张专辑"No Camera"的推出使他正式跃入主流。Ions can be created by both chemical and physical means.
