Emmanuel (born Jesús Emmanuel Acha Martinez, April 16, 1955, in Mexico City) is the top Mexican singer who debuted in the 1970s.
He is the son of the late Argentinian-born bullfighter Raúl Acha Rovira. His father a professional bullfighter in Plazo de Acho in Lima, Peru. Emanuel grew up in Chosica, Peru on Avenida Lima near el Parque Echenique and attended el Colegio Santa Rosa. His first wife, Spanish singer Conchita Martínez
