It’s been a year and a half since I’ve made a post here, and almost three years since I’ve released new music. I owe it to you all to explain why.
I must first say that if it weren’t for your love and continued support, I wouldn’t have made it this far. You believed in me when I couldn’t, and empowered me to continue making music when times got tough. With all my heart, thank you.
I’ve changed a lot since we last spoke. My hair’s longer, I’m a bit wiser, and my heart beats a little faster (mainly because I haven’t been working out). I no longer feel like a kid. I’ve been so distant from you because I was undergoing a pretty long and profound self-transformation. It’s been kinda like a second puberty, but instead of a physical change, it’s been a mental one. It was a bit paralyzing to my career though. For two years I was really lost and confused.
But the struggle gave me a voice as an artist and a human being, and with it I created an album. It’s finished, and I can’t wait to share it with you. It healed me when I was hurt and it guided me through the fire that transformed me into the man I am now.
