Leigh Ashley, Singer/Songwriter, has been using her gift since the age of 7. A mezzo-soprano, Leigh is influenced musically by her gospel roots, 90’s r&b, the Midwest Swing, and Jazz. During her youthful years she sang the National Anthem for Race for the Cure, Toledo, Oh, for more than 14,000 people two years in a row, was a contestant in the ACT-SO competition three years in a row for vocal contemporary, and the lead Singer of Jelise &Co. Those experiences directed her into singing and writing her own material which enabled her to Host and perform at Toledo Has Talent, Participate in the Put Me on Live Competition hosted by The Juice 107.3, opened for several acts in Detroit, MI including performing at the famous Music Hall and Cliff Bells. Leigh Ashley’s voice is a breath of fresh air, a woman that takes pride in using all of her voice and singing with power. An advocate of bringing good music back to the mainstream.
