尼尔·萨达卡(Neil Sedaka),又译尼尔·西达卡、尼尔·沙达卡,是美国著名流行歌手、钢琴家和词曲作者。 在华语地区最为人熟悉的是他1959年演唱的"Oh! Carol、1960年演唱的"Calendar Girl,以及1961年演唱的"Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen"。
Neil Sedaka幼年曾受过8年古典钢琴的训练,毕业于纽约著名的茱丽亚音乐学院,拥有非凡的作曲才华。Neil在高中时曾组过一个团体Tokeus也就是后来以The Lion Sleeps Tonight走红的"Tokeus"。
1958年Neil与他长期合作的作曲家Howard Greenfild写了两首歌Stupid Cupid及Folling,其作曲的才华被RCA赏识,立刻拉入旗下,而Stupid Cupid及Folling也成为1958年Connie Francis的畅销曲。同年11月,Neil才19岁,即开始了他的歌星生涯,第一首推出了The Diary仅有小轰动,1959年的"Oh,Carol"使Neil挤入超级巨星的行列,而1962年的"Breaking Up is Hard To Do才是Neil最受欢迎的畅销歌曲,之后Neil沉寂了一段时期,直到1974年以一首Lauglter in The Rain"复出后,才拾回往日的雄风,75年的"The Immigrant、Bad Blood均是佳曲。

His career has spanned nearly 55 years, during which time he has sold millions of records as an artist and has written or co-written over 500 songs for himself and other artists, collaborating mostly with lyricists Howard Greenfield and Phil Cody.
