A career in music is looking pretty bright for newcomer Karina Es. She's already opened for top acts like Sean Kingston and the Roots, and she's even sung before Gene Simmons at the Supermarket in Toronto. In March, 2012 she was Bell Media's emerging artist of the month. And on top of all that, she's a down to earth Lord of the Rings (LOTR) nerd, she even has a life sized Gandalf in her bedroom. Karina Es has a new video out for her pop single "Little Mercy" and SoulMatters caught up with the pop sensation to chat about music, science, and LOTR.
