Rudy Sarzo (born November 18, 1950) is a Cuban American hard rock/heavy metal bassist. Sarzo has played with many well known heavy metal and hard rock acts including Quiet Riot, Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake, Manic Eden, Dio, Blue oyster Cult and Geoff Tate's version of Queensryche,Sarzo was born Rodolfo Maximiliano Sarzo Lavieille Grande Ruiz Payret y Chaumont,[1] in Havana, Cuba on November 18, 1950. He emigrated to the United States in 1951, and was raised in Florida. His brother, Robert, is also a musician.
