Iara Renno is a Brazilian singer and songwriter.
Born in Paulo, daughter of composers Carlos Renno and Alzira Espndola1 began his career presenting with his mother in 1994. Later, between 1998 and 2001, joined the band Itamar Assumption.
In 2000, received the award for best songwriter Project Rising USP / Editora Abril, the songs sound does not fit into any names, Lightweight (partnership with Alice Ruiz) and pepper in his kingdom (with Anelis Assumption). Then joined the singer Andreia Dias DonaZica2 to form the band.
first chapter of the novel's namesake. It was the embryo of a project that took five years to complete: the CD Macunama Opera Tupi. The album, based on the work of Mario de Andrade, featured appearances from artists like Tom , Siba, and Arrigo Barbatuques
Attended the debut album of singer Tulipa Ruiz (Ephemeral, 2010) 6 and Treme CD (2012) Gaby Amarantos7.
