Ginger Ninja is a Danish electro- rock band formed in 2007 by Scott Hamilton, Rasmus Soby Andersen and Johan Luth. In February 2008, Carl -Erik Rasmussen Riestra part of the group , and that same year the band achieved great success , including the winner of the Blue Box and as opening band for VETO . They wrote in January 2009 contract with the big established company Sony Music , and released in June 2009 the single " Sunshine " , which became a radio hit .
Ginger Ninja released in January 2010 debut album Wicked Map, which later gained great interest and appreciation for the band in Germany, the Netherlands and Indonesia. Especially in the Netherlands , the band great success as the first single " Sunshine " from Wicked Map was used during Holland's World Cup matches at the World Cup 2010.
In January 2014 published the Ginger Ninja their second studio album , Excess Space . The album was produced by Jon " Joshua " Schumann Ginger Ninja issued in July 2013 the first single " Hole in My Head " , while the second single " Williamsburg" was released in November 2013.
Ginger Ninja has , inter alia, been support for Veto , Carpark North and Dizzy Mizz Lizzy in their respective Denmark tours. Meanwhile, Ginger Ninja also played at Pavilion Junior at Roskilde Festival 2009 and several times at the Skanderborg Festival , including at Beech scenes in 2012
