A band grown in Gothenburg. Death Metal at its core and the melodies passed down through heritage. Pure and deeply infested into its roots, you will find exactly what you expect and something more to grow on.

The current setting of the band was born out of Peter and Sebastian's wishes of playing heavier stuff. Something completely opposite to the direction their old band was heading towards. Said and done, they set out to find new members to join their journey.
First to join was guitarist August. And after a while they came across the ever so important drummer. They were close to the target, but there was still a missing piece. With just one spot left to fill, lead vocalist, Andy showed up and filled the gap. After recording a couple of demos and playing the local venues in Gothenburg, Andy left to pursue new goals and was quickly replaced with Roy who came along and filled the empty spot.

In September 2013 the band started the pre-production of their debut album "Haunted Souls". The recording took place between October and December, mixing and mastering in January. Now with the release around the corner the band is better than ever before.
So rest assured. The future belongs to the hard working men of Descending Chaos!
