Formed in late 2011 out of boredom during school lunchtimes. Originally a 3 piece acoustic guitar wielding folk band who thought they could play Banjo, but as time went on and they picked up two more members, the style started to change towards Indie Rock, from there, Jungle Doctors was born.

“It was always just a hobby really, something to keep us from being annoying school children that everyone over the age of 18 hates, but we never thought we’d still be going, especially now that two of us are at University doing pretty demanding courses”

Since the release of their first EP in July 2012, they have picked up lots of attention from blogs and radio stations, Boat Song was featured on Tom Robinson’s Introducing Mixtape on BBC Radio 6, and with their more recent releases, Better, Talk To Me and their new EP, they have picked up places in the Amazing Radio chart, airplay on BBC Radio London and XFM. “The first two singles from the EP have done incredibly well compared to the last material that we released, so you can’t help feeling that things are moving forwards, plus people actually want photos with us after gigs now”
