Maxine's album "Colors Of Love" is a reflection of her love life she wants to share with the world. Her music will bump in the club, in your ride, or at home. Maxine began her music career from her original hometown in San Diego, California. At the age of three she entertained her family by singing nursery rhymes and performing ballet. Growing up her mother gave her cassette tapes of Mariah Carey, Madonna, Debbie Gibson and Paula Abdul. With her Parents she moved to Germany and began writing her own songs at the age of ten. Later in life when she moved back to the “States” and got settled in El Paso TX, she developed a love for other genres of music to include The B52’s, Bjork, Morrissey, U2, and Nirvana. On her twelfth birthday her Aunt Lucinda came to visit from California and gave to her, her mothers very first Mexican restored guitar. She spent hours practicing and teaching herself how to play songs on the radio mixed with creations of her own. By the time Maxine was finishing high school in Colorado she had been to All State Choir both Junior and Senior year and also graduated as Choir Counsel President. She also sang The National Anthem at her graduation ceremony for all of class 1999. Maxine was thirsty to find herself in a music scene. She attended local bands and raves for as many live musical experiences as possible. One day she walked into a studio with her guitar, played for staff and got a grand tour of what a professional studio truly was. Maxine was hooked and instantly knew where she needed to be. After collaborating with different artists and musicians, Maxine finally found the studio that would be the foundation for her inspiration. At 1620 Studios with the help of J.D. Fieghner and Kajmir Royale, Maxine began her serious writing and recording. She kept adding song after song and created a library of Pop, Dance and R&B. After gaining some in house fans, she opened for several fashion shows in Denver at different down town clubs. With the help of Demi Bucklen she currently has four sexy background dancers. Maxine looks back and laughs about having her head in the clouds when she realized that she had more than enough material to put out an album. Her first song collection she is releasing to the public is called "Colors Of Love".
