Michal Hromek (9 March 1958, Prague) is a Czech songwriter and guitarist. Guitar graduated from the Conservatory in Pardubice (1983). Between 1994 and 1997 he studied at Prussia Cove (England) and Oatridge (Scotland). In his compositions are inspired to know folk music, mostly English and Scottish.
His album Celtic Guitar (1990) is the best-selling album of contemporary Czech artists abroad, got behind them a premium Czech Music Fund (1991) and a gold record in Canada (1997).
