Murkok - solo project by Ilya Glebov from Vyborg, Russia.
He began to create his own music from early adolescence. At first he played drums in various styles: from punk to jazz fusion. A bit later, he became interested in classical guitar. Ilya makes the first steps in writing electronic music in 23 years, but it was various experiments. His music had cross over between different styles.
Ultimately the works of Chihei Hatakeyama, Hakobune, Loscil served as the impetus to the making of his own music.
According to the author, at the heart of any art is the desire to balance the talent, courage, perseverance and hard work. Music for him - is primarily a harmony with oneself and ourward things. His main inspiration musician finds in contact with wife Nastya and daughter Varya, but also want to express gratitude for the support of all those who are listening, appreciates and loves his music. Without them, there wouldn’t be an incentive that helped to move on at the beginning and continues to do so today.
