Alma Construct is the music moniker of 19-year-old UK producer Josh Thompson. On August 26, R&S -- the Independent Belgium dance music label that has released work by Aphex Twin, Jaydee, Golden Girls and Biosphere -- will release Alma Construct's self-titled, debut EP.

Today we are pleased to premiere Alma Construct's new EP. The five song project, which Thompson recorded at home, is streaming below in its entirety.

"There's no narrative," says Thompson. "They're definitely stand alone tracks, and all made at quite different times. Usually I'll just be chilling out and listen to music or whatever and get inspired to make something, but not to copy it."

Song titles like 'On The Edge, Surrounded With The Shores Of Assudrey' and 'Deer Drink From The River,' capture the ominous, mysterious sonic vibe of the EP. With its many dark passageways, unexpected corners and brutal digital screams, it's a strange but fun world to get lost within. So push play and see what happens.
